At PT Squared “Physical Therapy and Personal Training” in Collierville, TN, we often recommend physical therapy when you are injured or have movement problems from an illness, disease, or disability.
We work to decrease pain so that you can return to daily activities, including teaching you exercises designed to help regain strength, increase range of motion, and prevent future injuries.
What should you expect during Physical Therapy?
At your first Physical Therapy appointment you will be evaluated by one of our Physical Therapists to get to the root of your problem. We do not treat during the initial Evaluation, instead building the best plan for you based on the feedback from your Therapist. Our patients usually notice pain relief immediately and see significant results by visit #4.
Also, we value your time. You never have to wait and your visits typically don’t last longer than 45 minutes. You’ll be giving exercises to do at home, allowing you to get better, faster than ever before.
Once your Physical Therapy goals are met, you will move on from Therapy with an updated exercise list so you can continue to get even better on your own. Some patients even enroll in a Personal Training or maintenance program because they are excited about how they feel and want to continue the positive momentum.
